Chapter 6 Part 5 : Aviation Security

Purchase

(1)	The Minister must, in consultation with the Civil Aviation Authority and with the concurrence of the person in charge of a designated airport, approve the appointment of the person responsible for the execution of the security program of such designated airport.

(2)	Any person appointed in terms of subsection (1) or employed in an executive capacity charged with any aviation security responsibilities at a designated airport must be a South African citizen as defined in section 2 of the South African Citizenship Act, 1995 (Act No. 88 of 1995).
