| (1) | No person shall act as a maintenance engineer of an aircraft unless such person is the holder of a valid AME licence with the appropriate rating issued or validated by the Director in terms of this part. |
| (2) | The holder of an AME licence shall not exercise privileges other than the privileges granted by the licence and the appropriate rating held by such holder. |
