| (1) |
A holder of an instrument flight procedure design approval or instrument flight procedure validation approval, shall— |
| (a) |
keep copies of all relevant documents as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 173— |
| (i) |
for the specified instrument flight procedure design or instrument flight procedure validation conducted by such holder; and |
| (ii) |
to determine compliance with the appropriate requirements prescribed in this Subpart; and |
| (b) |
establish procedures to control the documents referred to in paragraph (a). |
| (2) |
A holder of an approval referred to in subregulation (1) shall establish procedures to identify, collect, index, store and maintain all records which may be necessary— |
| (a) |
for a specified instrument flight procedure design or instrument flight procedure validation conducted by such holder; and |
| (b) |
to determine compliance with the appropriate requirements prescribed in this Subpart. |
| (3) |
The procedures referred to in subregulation (2) shall ensure that— |
| (a) |
a record is kept of each quality control review of a holder of an approval; |
| (b) |
a record is kept of each person who conducts a specified instrument flight procedure design or instrument flight procedure validation, including particulars of the competence assessments and experience of each such person; |
| (c) |
a record is kept of each student being trained or assessed by a holder of an approval, including particulars of enrolment, attendance, modules, instructor comments and any design or similar practical session and assessment of each such student; |
| (d) |
records are legible; and |
| (e) |
records are kept for the period specified per type of record as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 173, calculated from the date of the last entry made in such records. |
