| (1) | This Subpart applies to an aerodrome or area that— |
| (a) | is not required to be licensed in terms of Subpart 2; or |
| (b) | does not require approval in terms of Subpart 5; and |
| (c) | falls within exclusions as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 139. |
| (2) | Registration of an aerodrome does not confer any right of use by a third party and any permission for use shall be obtained from an aerodrome operator. |
| (3) | The requirements for registration of an aerodrome are prescribed in Document SA-CATS 139. |
