| (1) | A holder of a pilot certificate issued in terms of this Part shall maintain a record of flight time and instruction time as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 106. |
| (2) | A learner, in terms of this Part, shall maintain a record of training flights as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 106. |
| (3) | A person who conducts a competency check or any other assessment required in terms of this Part shall endorse a pilot logbook as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 106. |
| (4) | An electronic pilot logbook may be used, provided that the electronic data is printed onto paper at least every 90 days and the printed pages are filed sequentially in a binder. |
| (5) | An electronic pilot logbook shall have digital backups available to ensure no loss of data. |
