139.03.30 Heliport abandoned or not maintained

 

(1) In order that adequate warning may be given to the users of a heliport, the holder of a heliport licence shall give the Director at least 60 days written notice of its intention to discontinue the maintenance of the heliport or to abandon the heliport.

 

(2) If, after the expiry of the period of notice referred to in subregulation (1), a heliport is abandoned or is not being maintained in accordance with the conditions of the licence, the holder of the licence shall remove, obliterate or modify all heliport markings as the Director may direct.

 

(3) On completion of the task referred to in subregulation (2), the holder shall surrender the licence to the Director.
