| (1) | This Part applies to— |
| (a) | the issuance, revalidating, and reissuance of RPC and RPC ratings; and |
| (b) | UAS in relation to the issuance, revalidating, and reissuance of a South African RPC and rating, instructor rating, designation of DUEs, and matters related thereto. |
