| (1) | An applicant for the issuance of a hang-glider Grade A or B flight instructor rating shall— |
| (a) | be a holder of a hang-glider Grade C flight instructor rating for a minimum period of 12 months; |
| (b) | in the case of an applicant for Grade B, log a minimum of 30 flights or a minimum of 100 flight hours on hang-gliders; |
| (c) | in the case of an applicant for Grade A, log a minimum of 500 flights or a minimum of 300 flight hours on hang-gliders; and |
| (d) | have completed a training internship at an approved hang-glider training organisation for a minimum period of 10 days as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 106. |
