The category ratings comprise—
| (a) | conventionally controlled microlight aeroplanes; |
| (b) | weight-shift controlled microlight aeroplanes; |
| (c) | gyroplanes and gyrogliders with a maximum all-up mass of 2 000 kg or less; |
| (d) | hang-gliders, including powered hang-gliders; |
| (e) | paragliders, including powered paragliders and powered paratrikes; |
| (f) | light sport aeroplanes; and |
| (g) | touring motor gliders. |
