An application for the validation of an approach control rating shall be—
| (a) |
made to the Director in the appropriate prescribed form; and |
| (i) |
the appropriate certificate of competency, as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 65, signed by a validation examiner confirming that the experience specified in regulation 65.09.5 has been accumulated within the six months immediately preceding the application; |
| (ii) |
the air traffic service licence and rating held by the applicant; and |
| (iii) |
the appropriate fee as prescribed in Part 187. |
