| (1) | An applicant for the issuing of a Grade One or Grade Two aircraft maintenance instructor rating shall have passed the appropriate written examination as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 66. |
| (2) | An applicant who fails the written examination referred to in subregulation (1), may apply for retesting after the appropriate period specified in Document SA-CATS 66. |
