| (1) | A holder of a flight validation approval shall— |
| (a) | ensure that an operations manual is— |
| (i) | available to the personnel who require it to perform their duties; |
| (ii) | amended in terms of the procedure prescribed in such manual; |
| (iii) | amended in terms of the requirements of this Part and a copy of an amendment is submitted to the Director for approval; and |
| (iv) | is kept current and up to date at all times. |
| (b) | make such amendments to the operations manual as the Director may consider necessary in the interests of aviation safety; |
| (c) | comply with all the procedures detailed in the operations manual; |
| (d) | validate each instrument flight procedure as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 173; |
| (e) | submit each flight validation package to the Director for approval as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 173; and |
| (f) | ensure that a flight procedure submitted is accompanied by appropriate fee as prescribed in Part 187. |
