| (1) | Any person who certifies an aircraft or aircraft component after maintenance shall enter in the appropriate logbook or other maintenance record approved by the Director – |
| (a) | a statement as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 43; and |
| (b) | his or her signature, licence or authorisation number and the date of the entry. |
| (2) | A person certifying release to service of an aircraft shall certify the release to service on the appropriate form as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 43. |
