An applicant for a tug or tow rating shall within the 30 days immediately preceding the date of application have demonstrated to an appropriately rated flight instructor or a person designated for the purpose in writing by the Director or an organisation designated for the purpose in terms of Part 149, as the case may be, the ability to satisfactorily execute the skills as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 62.
