| (1) | Subject to subregulation (2), the provisions of— |
| (a) | Subparts 2, 4 and 6 of this Part do not apply to private operation of a UAS; and |
| (b) | regulations 101.05.8, 101.05.10(1)(b), (c) and (d) do not apply to private operation of a UAS. |
| (2) | Private operations of a UAS shall be conducted only in R-VLOS with a Class 1A or 1B RPA. |
| (3) | An operator of a UAS involved in private operation shall not convey dangerous goods on board a UA. |
