Any person who certifies an aircraft or aircraft component for release to service after carrying out an inspection shall enter in the appropriate logbook or other maintenance record approved by the Director—
| (a) | the statement as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 43; and |
| (b) | his or her signature, licence or authorisation number and the date of the entry. |
