| (1) |
An application for an SPL or an ISPL must be made to the Director in the appropriate form and shall include the following: |
| (a) |
a name and number of an ATO at which an applicant is registered; and |
| (b) |
an appropriate aircraft by name on which training will be conducted, provided that a student pilot shall be restricted to three types of aircraft. |
| (2) |
The form referred to in subregulation (1) shall be accompanied by— |
| (a) |
a copy of an ID or passport of an applicant, as applicable; |
| (b) |
a recent passport-size photograph of an applicant; |
| (c) |
a valid medical certificate issued in terms of Part 67; and |
| (d) |
the appropriate fee as prescribed in Part 187. |
| (3) |
In the case where a holder of an SPL or an ISPL transfers to another ATO, such a holder shall apply for re-issuance of an SPL or an ISPL to the Director. |
