| (1) | Where a pilot logbook is lost or destroyed, such pilot shall request the Director to credit the flight time that was entered in a lost pilot logbook. |
| (2) | The Director shall only credit flight time which had been entered in a lost or destroyed pilot logbook if such flight time is substantiated by acceptable means as determined by the Director. |
| (3) | An applicant for a pilot certificate or instructor rating in one category rating, may be credited for prior learning experience acquired from another category rating at the written recommendation of an instructor conducting training for such applicant. |
| (4) | An applicant for an endorsement in a particular category may be credited with experience acquired on the written recommendation of an instructor conducting training for such applicant. |
| (5) | A holder of a certificate or endorsement with a particular category rating may be credited with some of the theoretical knowledge for the other category rating. |
| (6) | A holder of an NPL with the weight shift controlled microlight endorsement as provided for in Part 62 may be credited for all prior learning and experience towards a hang-glider category rating. |
| (7) | A learner, in terms of this Part, shall be credited in full for solo flight time and dual flight instruction time towards the total flight time required for the issuance of a hang-glider or paraglider certificate. |
