An applicant for the issuing of a type rating by name for light sport aeroplanes shall—
| (a) |
hold at least a valid restricted certificate of proficiency in radiotelephony (aeronautical); |
| (b) |
have acquired the experience referred to in regulation 62.16.2; |
| (c) |
have successfully completed the training referred to in regulation 62.16.3; |
| (d) |
have passed the theoretical knowledge examination referred to in regulation 62.16.4; and |
| (e) |
have successfully passed the skills test referred to in regulation 62.16.5. Experience |
