For the applicant for, or the holder of, a national pilot licence to be issued with a type rating by name for weight-shift controlled microlight aeroplanes, he or she shall—
| (a) |
hold at least a valid restricted certificate of proficiency in radiotelephony (aeronautical); |
| (b) |
have acquired the experience referred to in regulation 62.05.2; |
| (c) |
have successfully completed the training referred to in regulation 62.05.3; |
| (d) |
have passed the theoretical knowledge examination referred to in regulation 62.05.4; and |
| (e) |
have successfully passed the skill test referred to in regulation 62.05.5. |
