[Regulation 71.02.4 heading substituted by section 7(l) of the Thirty-Third Amendment of the Civil Aviation Regulations, 2026, Notice No. 7844, GG55226, dated 21 August 2026 and shall come into operation upon Publication in the Government Gazette, save for Part 92, which shall come into operation upon the Proclamation by the President of the Civil Aviation Amendment Act, 2021 (Act No. 22 of 2021]
| (1) | A skills test for an RPC shall be conducted within 60 days of completing flight training by a DUE. |
| (2) | A skills test referred to in subregulation (1) shall be conducted with an UAS of the same category for which an RPC is sought. |
| (3) | A holder of an RPC shall submit skills test results to the Director within 30 days of taking such test. |
| (4) | A skills test for an RPC shall include the applicable sections for the rating sought. |
