| (1) | If a CAO operates, under its CAOC in a State, other than the Republic, the CAO shall notify the Director as well as the State in which the operation is conducted. |
| (2) | On receipt of a notification referred to in subregulation (1), the Director shall coordinate safety and security oversight with an appropriate authority of a State in which an operation is performed. |
