| (1) | If the Director approves a designation as DUE, the Director may endorse an RPC with such designation. |
| (2) | If a designation is endorsed in an RPC more than six calendar months prior to an RPC instructor rating expiry date, a designation as a DUE shall run concurrent with the validity period of an RPC instructor rating. |
| (3) | If a designation is endorsed in an RPC less than six calendar months prior to an instructor rating expiry date, a designation shall be valid until an RPC instructor rating expiry date of the following year. |
