| (1) | An application for an RPC instructor rating shall− |
| (a) | be submitted to the Director within 30 days of completing a skills test; and |
| (b) | be accompanied by the appropriate fee as prescribed in Part 187. |
| (2) | An applicant for an RPC instructor rating shall— |
| (a) | complete a theoretical knowledge course and a practical training course at an ATO approved to conduct training in terms of this Part; and |
| (b) | if an applicant holds or has held an instructor rating in terms of Part 61, be credited for certain modules of the course as approved by the Director in the training and procedures manual. |
| (3) | A theoretical knowledge and practical training syllabi for an RPC instructor rating shall be as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 71. |
| (4) | The Director shall issue an RPC instructor rating as a multirotor, helicopter, or aeroplane instructor if an applicant complies with the requirements as set out in this Subpart. |
