| (1) | In a case where a student pilot demonstrates significantly slow progress, an ATO shall timeously implement an assistance program. |
| (2) | An assistance program referred to in subregulation (1) shall be designed to determine the cause of a slow progress and implement corrective measures to assist a student pilot, as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 61. |
| (3) | In the case where a student pilot that is subject to an assistance program has reached 80 hours of flight time without obtaining a PPL, the skills test towards a PPL shall be conducted by a DFE. |
