| (1) | An applicant for the issuance of a paraglider Grade B flight instructor rating shall— |
| (a) | hold a pilot certificate with a paraglider category rating for a minimum period of 24 months; |
| (b) | be a holder of a sport endorsement for a minimum period of 12 months; |
| (c) | be a holder of a paraglider assistant flight instructor endorsement for a minimum period of six months; |
| (d) | have completed a minimum of 500 flights and a minimum of 100 flight hours on paragliders; and |
| (e) | have completed a training internship at an accepted paraglider training organisation for a minimum period of 10 days as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 106. |
