| (1) | The appeal committee may confirm, vary or set aside any decision against which an appeal has been lodged in terms of section 121. |
| (2) | A decision of the majority of the members hearing an appeal is the decision of the appeal committee. |
| (3) | The Chairperson of the appeal committee shall have, in the event of an equality of votes, a casting vote in addition to a deliberative vote. |
