8.1 | The Council shall appoint one or more persons to be designated agents to assist in giving effect to the terms of this Agreement. These agents shall be appointed by the Minister of Labour in terms of section 33(1) of the Act. |
8.2 | It shall be the duty of every employer to permit such agents to enter his establishment and to institute such inquiries and to examine such documents, books, salary/wage advice, pay envelopes and pay tickets and to question such individuals as may be necessary for the purpose of ascertaining whether the provisions of this Agreement are being complied with. |
8.3 | The General Secretary may at any time require a designated agent to monitor compliance with the provisions of this Agreement. |
