18. Records to be kept by Employers



(1) Every employer shall keep a record containing the following information;
(a) the name of the employee and occupation;
(b) the time worked by each employee;
(c) the remuneration paid to each employee;
(d) the date of birth of each employee under the age of 18 years;
(e) any other prescribed information.


(2) A record in terms of sub-clause (1) shall be kept by the employer for a period of three years from the date of the last entry record.


(3) Entries in the time-register shall be in the employee's own handwriting and no person shall make false entries in a register.
