||Employees other than relief employees: Wages, payments for overtime, allowances and all other payments due to an employee shall be paid in cash weekly by the employer during the ordinary hours of work of the employee on the usual pay day of the establishment, or, with the written consent of the employee, monthly in cash or by cheque during the ordinary hours of work of the employee or by direct deposit into an account designated by the employee on the usual pay day of the establishment, or on termination of employment if this takes place before the usual pay day.
7.2 All such payments shall be accompanied by a statement showing—
||the employer's name and address;
||the employee's name or his/her number on the payroll and his/her category;
||the number of ordinary hours of work worked by the employee;
||the number of overtime hours worked by the employee;
||the employee's wage;
||details of any other payments arising out of the employee's employment;
||details of any deductions made;
||the actual amount paid to the employee; and
||the period in respect of which payment is made, and the envelope or the statement on which such particulars are shown, shall become the property of the employee.
||All deductions shall be in accordance with and in terms of the provisions of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997, as amended.
