In this constitution, any expression that is defined in the Act has that meaning and unless the context otherwise indicates –

"chairperson"

eans the chairperson of the council who, by virtue of that office, is also the chairperson of the executive committee;

"deputy chairperson"

means the deputy chairperson of the council who, by virtue of that office, is also the deputy chairperson of the executive committee;

"executive committee"

means the executive committee of the council; contemplated in clause 7;

"Minister"

means the Minister of Labour;

"secretary"

means the secretary of the council; and

"the Act"

means the Labour Relations Act, 1995 (Act No. 66 of 1995).
