Collective Agreement

10. Place of Employment and Outwork

 

(1) An employee may not be permitted or required to work anywhere else than his regular place of work.

 

(2) An employee may not be permitted or required to work for more than one employer during the same working week.

 

(3) Outwork shall mean work which is given out by or on behalf of an employer to be done or completed outside his registered factory on any component, materials of parts of a product falling within the scope of the Agreement.

 

(4) "Where an employer requires outwork to be done, such outwork shall only be executed by a party that is registered and compliant in terms of collective agreements relevant to the Footwear Section, provided that the employer supplying the outwork shall not be held accountable for any incidence of non-compliance".

 

(5) When such a party is non-compliant, the Council shall implement the procedures in terms of this agreement, to rectify such incidence of non-compliance.
