An air service operator shall provide initial, recurrent and refresher training and checking as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 121 for any person whose function is essential to safe operations in terms of this Part. Such training will be given to at least—
| (a) | flight operations officers and flight followers; |
| (b) | ground service personnel whose function involves working in, on or around the operator's aeroplanes; and |
| (c) | any other person deemed necessary by the Director. |
