| (1) | The purpose of the directions is to provide for measures to prevent and mitigate the risks associated with COVID -19 relating to: |
| (a) | Facilities at the stations, exchange yards, depots, sidings, rail terminals, loading facilities, hand -over points and railway maintenance depots; |
| (b) | Rail passengers, contractors, commuters customers and; |
| (c) | Railway staff that interact with railway users and responsible for safe railway operations. |
