Ship's Medicines and Medical Appliances  Regulations, 1991

7. Medicines and medical appliances to be carried by different classes of ships

 

The medicines and medical appliances to be carried by the different classes of ships, Class C boats, ship's lifeboats and ship's liferaffs shall be as set out in Annexes 1 to 5 as follows:

 

Annex 1: Class 1 ships

Scale A-Items to be carried on Class 1 ships with no more than 40 persons on board.

Scale B-Items to be carried on Class 1 ships with more than 40 persons on board.

Scale C-Additional items to be carried by all Class 1 ships carrying chemicals as whole or part cargo.

 

Annex 2: Class 2 ships

Scale D-Items to be carried by Class 2 ships with no more than 40 persons on board.

Scale E-Items to be carried by Class 2 ships with more than 40 persons on board.

 

Annex 3: Class 3 ships

Scale F-Items 10 be carried by Class 3 ships.

 

Annex 4: Ship's lifeboats and Class C boats.

First-aid outfit 10 be carried on ship's lifeboats and Class C boats.
