| (1) |
A security direction comes into force at the time specified in the direction. |
| (i) |
there is no time specified; or |
| (ii) |
the specified time is before the time when the direction is given, |
the direction comes into force 24 hours after it is given; or
| (b) |
if the specified time is later than the beginning of the seventh day after the direction is given, the direction comes into force at the start of that day. |
| (3) |
A security direction remains in force until either of the following occurs: |
| (a) |
the direction is revoked in writing by the Director-General; |
| (b) |
the direction has been in force for a continuous period of 3 months. |
