| (1) | No person may serve in the capacity as skipper of a commercial vessel that is a passenger vessel unless so authorised in terms of an appropriate endorsement to his or her certificate of competence. |
| (2) | No person may serve in the capacity as skipper of a commercial vessel that is a dive support vessel or dive charter vessel unless so authorised in terms of an appropriate endorsement to his or her certificate of competence. |
