When eggs are kept or displayed for sale in loose quantities—
| (a) |
eggs of different grades, types (i.e. pasteurised or unpasteurised), sizes, origin and type of production system, except in the case of mixed sizes, shall be kept or displayed separately; and |
| (b) |
the following information shall be prominently marked on a notice board in the immediate vicinity of the eggs in clear legible letters and figures with a vertical height of at least 10 mm in height: |
| (i) |
The size designation of the eggs concerned or the expression "mixed sizes", whichever is applicable. |
| (ii) |
The grade designation of the eggs concerned. |
| (iii) |
The country of origin. |
| (iv) |
The name of the packer only. |
| (v) |
The best before date. |
| (vi) |
The expression "pasteurised" if the eggs have been pasteurised. |
