Standards of classes of Edible Ices

9. Soft serve mix and Soft serve

 

(1) Soft serve mix—
(a) means an unfrozen, homogenised and pasteurised product;
(b) shall contain at least 3% (m/m) vegetable fat or a combination of both vegetable fat and butter fat;
(c) shall contain at least 25% (m/m) total solids; and
(d) may contain other foodstuffs and food additives.

 

(2) Soft serve means semi-frozen Soft serve mix.
