| (1) | The purpose of these Regulations is to regulate and prescribe: |
| (a) | process and procedures for registration, amendment, transfer, surrender and renewal of a licence as contemplated in section 5(7)(a)(i) read with sections 16(1) and 17(1) of the Act; |
| (b) | documentation to be submitted with a notice for registration or renewal and applications for surrender or transfer of a licence as contemplated in section 5(7)(a)(ii) of the Act; |
| (c) | process and procedures applicable to licence exempt ECS and ECNS; and |
| (d) | other matters pertaining thereto, as contemplated in section 5(7)(b) of the Act. |
| (2) | These Regulations do not regulate the: |
| (a) | process and procedures in respect of applications for and the granting of radio frequency spectrum Licences; |
| (b) | licence fees payable by licencees. |
