In these Regulations, terms used shall have the same meaning as in the Electronic Communications Act 2005 (no. 36 of 2005); unless the context indicates otherwise:

"Act"

means the Electronic Communications Act, 2005 (Act No. 36 of 2005) as amended;

"ITU"

means the International Telecommunication Union;

"SADC FAP"

means the Southern African Development Community Frequency Allocation Plan;

"User"

means a licensed or licence exempt user of the radio frequency spectrum; and

"WRC"

means the World Radiocommunication Conference.
