A pharmacist who wishes to register as a tutor must:
| (a) | have a minimum of one (1) year post-registration experience (which includes pharmaceutical community service) to act as a tutor for Pharmacist’s Assistants (Learners); |
| (b) | have a minimum of two (2) years post-registration experience (which includes the performance of pharmaceutical community service) to act as a tutor of a Pharmacy Technician (Learner); |
| (c) | have a minimum of three (3) years post-registration experience (which includes the performance of pharmaceutical community service) to act as a tutor of a Pharmacist Intern; |
| (d) | be registered with Council and be designated as a practising pharmacist in terms of the Regulations relating to Continuing Professional Development; and |
| (e) | be required to comply with the conditions of registration to remain on the register of tutors. |
