| (1) | No body corporate, other than a body corporate which complies with the provisions of section 22 (6) or 22B (1) (f), shall open, purchase or otherwise acquire a pharmacy in which the business of a retail pharmacy is carried on, or acquire any share in such pharmacy. |
| (2) | Any contravention of the provisions of subsection (1) shall be an offence and any person shall on conviction thereof be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred rand. |
