Notwithstandingthe provisions of clause 5, registered motor vehicle owners, specific licence number holders and entities, including municipalities, must, within a period of 24 months of the commencement of the new KwaZulu-Natal motor vehicle numbering system, and as contemplated in regulation 5(1), re-licence their vehicles in terms of the new KwaZulu-Natal motor vehicle licence numbering system.
