8. Disqualification of directors

Purchase

No person shall be a director of the board if he or she—

(a)	is ineligible or disqualified to act as a director of a board of a company as defined in section 1 of the Companies Act;

(b)	is a member of any legislature or of an executive council in the Republic, or of a similar governmental institution in the region.
