| (1) | The Dental Mechanicians Board established by section 2 of the Dental Mechanicians Act, 1945 (Act No. 30 of 1945), shall, notwithstanding the repeal of that Act by this Act, continue to exist and to be a juristic person, but shall as from the commencement of this Act be called "The South African Dental Technicians Council". |
| (2) | The head office of the council shall be situated at Pretoria, but may, with the consent of the Minister, be moved to any other place in the Republic. |
