In these Regulations any word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned the Act has that meaning, and unless the context indicates otherwise—

"listed substance"

means any chemical listed in regulation 2(1)(a) of these Regulations, well formulations and products containing any of these chemicals and their wastes;

"the Act"

means the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998); and

"waste disposal facility"

means any site or premise used for the accumulation of waste with the purpose of disposing of that waste at that site or on that premise.
