| (1) | Two or more clearing houses may amalgamate or merge with one another or with any self-regulatory organisation, or any of the assets and liabilities of a clearing house may be transferred to or taken over by any other clearing house or self-regulatory organisation with the approval of the registrar and subject to the conditions that he or she may prescribe. |
| (2) | Section 54 is applicable with the changes required by the context to an amalgamation or transfer referred to in subsection (1). |
