| (1) |
The municipal manager of a municipality may delegate a power or duty vested in him or her in terms of this Act to an official in the municipality. |
| (2) |
A delegation in terms of subsection (1)— |
| (b) |
may be subject to conditions; |
| (c) |
does not prevent the exercise of the power or the performance of the duty by the municipal manager personally; |
| (d) |
may be withdrawn by the municipal manager, subject to any rights that may have accrued to any person; and |
| (e) |
does not divest the municipal manager of the responsibility for the exercise of the power or the performance of the duty. |
