The Minister may in writing delegate any power conferred upon him or her or assign any duty imposed upon him or her by or under this Act to the Secretary for Defence or the Chief of the Defence Force, except the power to make regulations and, in the case of the Chief of the Defence Force, the power to employ the Defence Force as contemplated in section 18(1).
